We've been saying it for years: Paso Robles is the best place for wine tasting. You can show up in your pajamas and make a disapproving face at a winery's top wine and not be judged. It's a place you can pretend to be a wine expert and not actually be forced to prove any real knowledge… that's not to say the people in the area aren't wine experts, you just aren't expected to be one yourself when walking into a tasting room.

Working Out The Kinks

It’s been a week since we began insolence + wine. Technologically speaking, we’re still figuring things out, so please be patient as things may be unorganized at first as the kinks get worked out. On the creative front, we’ve got a year’s worth of ideas jotted down in various places that we will be rolling out within the next few weeks.

In the next couple of weeks, we'll be rolling out a couple different series for the blog. With summer just around the corner (it was in the high 90's today), we'll be unveiling a wine series on various wineries on the Central Coast as well as a wedding series written from the point of view of former wedding planners and women who have recently planned their own weddings. On Monday we launched a new series, Backing Into Bariatric Surgery, which we hope is just as helpful and therapeutic for us as it is for those struggling with the same issues.
